Worth its weight in gold!

This app helped me track meals and make better dietary choices! I lost 25 lbs and I am on my way toward 50 lbs. App made it easy peasy!

Easy to use

Appreciate being able to see carbs/fat/protein amounts since I am trying to eat balanced. Divided up by % for each meal so you can see in 24 hour period if you need to adjust for balance. Helps me identify areas for improvement. Recommend.

Holy EFF!

This app is BEYOND any other app any other here. Id go into a rant on how much better it looks, what is does, etc. but I recommend downloading it, taking a look around, get a feel for it, and youll see why this beats all the rest. 1 problem is the food selections for the scanner, I have to upload most info myself, but getting past that inconvenience, I cant complain. Great job!

App no longer works

After downloading the latest update, the app will no longer stay open on my iphone 4. Please fix!

Looks nice, but buggy and incorrect food

Out of the other food apps Ive used (only a hand full), this one provides a unique ability to choose the type of diet you want. There are a hand full of pre-selected dietary types: "Athlete", "Low Carb", "High Protein", "Cardio Training", etc. However, if you want to have your own custom plan, you need to pay $4.99 per month. In my opinion, that feature isnt worth the money. Perhaps as a one-time fee, but not monthly. Next, the majority of the food Ive had that is actually in this apps food list, is incorrect. Simply looking at the label of the product Im using, then comparing it to what was entered are different. Third, theres a feature in the UI that shows you what percent of your daily allowance of carbs, fat, and protein. However, when you click on one those macro ingredients to learn how much of each food contributed to that percent... the "Total" says, "Protein g", "Fat g", and "Carb g" respectively. Fourth, another bug in the interface doesnt allow the interface to update your macronutrients percentages properly. Fifth, entering in new food (which you have to do a lot since their lists are wrong) is very awkward and difficult to use. Everything must initially be entered as grams. Which means constantly having to convert each component. Sixth, its pretty much impossible to enter in vitamin information since (in the U.S.) most goods are described as a percentage daily value, IU, mg, or mcg. The only thing this app gives you is mg or mcg. Which means you have to do most of the conversion outside of the app instead on within. Finally, in order to incorporate your workout regimen, you have to pay a monthly fee for their other app. Would be nice for it to use Apples health kit, which already provides it.

Good app

Works well. The only item of contention is the fact that a lot of the information populated in the food database, that has not been validated, is grossly inaccurate. Which means that people are not populating the database correctly. Other than that, it works just fine.

not a carb tracker

when I download a carb tracker I fully expect it to show me carbs as #s not a %. and giving me a calorie goal when I tell you I want low carb is not what I want . completely useless app. promptly deleted.

Good but not for me

I like the ability to pick a diet plan from low carb to athlete. But...I track food for a convenience and if it takes me 15 or more to just input 3 items then I wont track my food. The database has a lot of general items but none of the items I use was in the database. Even the bread was not in the DB. I want accurate calorie and carb tracking not estimates and thats what I had to do with most of the items I put in.

Just what I needed

I have been intermittently fasting and counting calories and this is just what I needed to know how much I am eating and how many I can eat

I like the app

I like the app. Its helpful in tracking and providing details about your caloric intake. I am impressed with the variety of food sources the app has information on.

App works great, one small suggestion

The app really works well, however, depending on how you set the language will matter which database you search in for foods. So if you live in a country that is a different native language than what you speak, you may have problems.

Food

This is an exceptional app. I am fighting diabetes, and this makes it easy to watch my calories and my carbs. I am staying under my limits easily, thanks to this app. In the time I have been using it, I have lost nearly 80 pounds, and my diabetes has gone away. Much of that has to do with being mindful of everything I eat. This app contributes greatly to that mindfulness.
